Skjomen and the Narvik region, has world class alpine climbing at any level, from easy ridge scrambling to steep north faces easily attained. The amount of long sharp ridges are amazing and in winter nicely combined with skiis. Many icefalls have short approaches and requires little effort to gain, such as Spansdalen, Salangen, Sørdalen and Abisko.
